I just got Cox fiber gigablast installed into the house. It is the fiber one as I get 940 up and down when hardwired into a port. My question is setting the provided router into bridge mode. They put the modem and router in the network panel.The Modem was quite simple to pair using the Xfinity app. I just tapped add new modem and followed the instructions. It took a total about 15 mins for the modem to be fully paired. Then I decided to restart my router and was up and running 5 mins later. I’d recommend NOT calling Comcast to activate the modem and use the app instead.
